Red Force – Ferrari Land (Spain)
Red force is a steel launched roller coaster and is also the tallest coaster in Europe, standing at a whopping 367ft (112m) and is a sight to behold.
Launched from 0-112mph in 5 seconds riders are taken to the 112m crest of the signature top hat, once over the crest gravity then takes over as you plummet toward the ground at incredible speed before hitting the break run en route back the ride station.
Red force also boasts an impressive F1 themed viewing area for those that like to watch rather than ride roller coasters.
Taron – Phantasiland (Germany)
Another ride manufactured by Swiss based firm Intamin, Taron is a multi launch coaster and another of their Blitz model.
The ride does not include any inversions, but that is more than made up with via the large amount of sharp twists and turns the train takes as it traverses the course.
Travelling at speeds of up to 72mph, Taron takes you on a journey through the beautifully themed Klugheim area of the theme park, in fact Taron is quite possible the best themed coaster outside of any of the Disney parks worldwide.
