Fraggles, Doozers and Gorgs
Created by the Muppet’s creator Jim Henson, Fraggle Rock follows the adventures of puppet creatures the Fraggles, Doozers and Gorgs. The programme follows the adventures of all the puppets living on Fraggle Rock. With lots of singing and dancing Fraggle Rock would have you tapping your feet and singing along in no time at all.
Sesame Street
If you wanted to learn about numbers and letters, Sesame Street was the one to watch. With likes of Elmo, Big Bird and Bert and Ernie the residents of Sesame Street. This show was all about learning, teaching pre-schoolers the Alphabet, numbers and a number of songs that could be crammed into each episode.
Orvil the Duck
Orvil was the nappy wearing green duck who just wished he could fly. He featured on the Keith Harris Show with Cuddles the Monkey. In 1982 Keith and Orvil released their single Orvil’s Song. The 1982 tune was a huge success, selling over 400,000 and reaching number 4 in the charts. The well remembered song was all about Orvil wishing he could fly, right up to the sky…But he Can’t!
