GhostWatch
Whoa!!! GhostWatch collectively scared and entertained the hell out of everyone back in 1992 when this one off was broadcast on BBC1.
No one knew that this was a Mockumentary (until the end) but everyone watched it, got scared witless, didn’t sleep and then couldn’t stop talking about it at school for weeks after it aired.
Ghostwatch had a lot of complaints on Points of View and sadly, this kind of show was never done again on the BBC which is a crying shame because it was amazing!

The Word
It’s Friday night and you’re up late or just coming back from the pub so what do you watch? The Word on Channel 4.
The Word was pretty epic for its time and was one for the back from the pub and the cool kids to watch with the latest bands and cool magazine style features as well as fans of the show doing crazy ‘Mad for it’ things on the ‘I will do anything to be on TV’ segment.
It was presented by Terry Cristian and also had Mark Lamaar was on the show too. It ran from 1990 to 1995.
The Word was bright, colourful, funny and pushed boundaries all at the same time and had some huge bands and acts on including Nirvana, Cypress Hill, Bill Hicks, Faith No More and many more.
