Although arguably the acting in this film is not at its best, it reflects the life of teenage girls and their dreams. It shows that being perfect is overrated, that the right man is waiting for you and that your friends are incredibly important. It shares the worries of every teenage girl – from being able to kiss properly to wondering if you need a nose job. Based on the books by Louise Rennison, it follows 14-year-old Georgia who comes across embarrassing situations.

Who doesn’t love Bridget Jones? Whether you’re a teenager or an adult, everyone loves watching Bridget Jones with the girls. A tale of finding yourself, falling in love with the wrong man to find the right one and trying to make a career last (even if it’s not what you’re made for). Dream big, don’t give up. When in doubt, remember Bridget Jones. She’s probably done far more embarrassing things than you have and still managed to pull her life together.
Freaky Friday
Another Lindsay Lohan classic – Freaky Friday shows a mother and daughter relationship at its worst and then its rekindling. Tess Coleman and her daughter Anna are completely different people and when they visit a Chinese restaurant, they receive obscure fortunes and the next day wake up as each other. They are left with no choice but to try to get along and understand each other in order to switch back to their own bodies.
