Micro Machines had a starring role in Home Alone
Why? Well if you remember Kevin used his huge collection to slow the burglars down where they painfully slipped and landed on them.
Looking back now it was excellent product placement because it worked and made us want them even more and we pestered our parents relentlessly after we saw the movie for more Micro Machines.
It also probably reminded our parents of how painful some of them were when you trod of them in the dark and were on a par with Lego but probably not as bad as a standard UK plug though. Savage!
