10 Alternative 90’s Horror Movies You Need To Watch

Last updated:

Bride of Chucky (1998)

Hi, I’m Chucky, Wanna Play?

The Chucky franchise has always been great fun and in our opinion Bride of Chucky is one of the best.

Chucky’s former girlfriend Tiffany wants her man back so gets the dolls remains from the police and resurrects him.

Chucky tells her he didn’t intend on them ever marrying so she locks him up.

He soon escapes and kills her, but he then traps her soul in another doll to annoy her.

The rest of the film revolves around a plan to retrieve a magic amulet from his grave that can put their souls into Tiffany’s neighbours’ bodies.

This is a classic slasher film that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is always a good watch.

Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995)

The Crypt Keeper tells us the story of the Demon Knight.

Demon Knight is a true fight between good and evil set in New Mexico and sees a character named The Collector, played by Billy Zane pursuing a man named Brayker, played by William Sadler.

This chase brings terror to a small community as they try to stop the Collector from getting an artefact.

The artefact contains the blood of Christ himself and the demon world need to get it to return the world to darkness.

Demon Knight is a true classic and also has a killer soundtrack by Pantera, Megadeth, Biohazard and more.
