Metallica
Arguably the most commercially successful Metal band of all time Metallica were the band that pushed Thrash Metal forward in the eighties and were the obvious leaders of the ‘Big Four’. They released four serious masterpieces in that decade and each one held a different sound that retained the formula that made them great. Something that set them apart was their melodic approach to music that was still fast and heavy. They have too many classic tracks to really choose one but we have to so here’s Creeping Death from their 1984 album ‘Ride the Lightning’
