Slayer
Whilst the UK was pioneering a progressive sound America was getting angry, the result of this was the birth of Thrash and Slayer were members of the so called ‘Big Four’. Slayer’s sound was brutal and their content changed metal forever. Releasing four crushing studio albums in the Eighties Slayer produced the undisputed classic ‘Reign in Blood’, although South of Heaven was another masterpiece.
