The Awesome Saturday Night TV of the 80s & 90s

Growing up in the 80’s, Saturday night used to consist of, sitting down with your family and watching one of your favourites shows, usually either on the BBC or ITV.

It wasn’t until the late 80’s that you may of been one of the lucky ones and your parents decided to get Sky, so you would have a number of other channels to choose from.

In our house we weren’t lucky enough to get our Sky TV until the early 90’s so Saturday night consisted of picking from two channels, however from what we remember it wasn’t all that bad.

So here is the best of the 80’s and 90’s Saturday night TV.

Blind Date

Hosted by Cilla Black and ‘our Graham with a quick reminder.’ Blind Date was the dating show of the 80’s. Three hopefuls hoping to meet the love of their life on the TV show.
