Star Wars fans rejoice as the final chapter in the Skywalker saga is finally coming to Disney+.
This means that you will be able to celebrate Star Wars Day 2020 in style as you’ll be able to watch all nine movies back to back.
This Is The End
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came to cinemas in December 2019 to bring the saga to an emotional close.
Those of us that grew up watching Star Wars were deeply moved to be saying goodbye to an old friend but not everyone was happy.
The movie split the community in two, as many finales do, as some loved it and others absolutely hated it.
As always the internet became a battleground as people professed their love or abject hatred for the movie.
We won’t go into any spoilers as we are just happy to be able to watch it again and as we previously said be able to do a marathon sitting.
Return Of The Alliance
The Rise of Skywalker follows on from 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
It follows the central characters of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Poe (Oscar Isaac) as they make a final stand against the First Order and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
The movie also stars several returning cast members including Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata among others.
We are sure that most of you with kids have already signed up to Disney+ thanks to the lockdown but if you haven’t then now is the perfect time.
You can of course get your one week free trial to watch it as well.
When is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Disney+?
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be available to watch from May 4th 2020 on Disney+
May the Force be with you.
