Are These The Best 80’s High School Movies Ever?

Better Off Dead (1985)

John Cusack plays a standard underdog teen who has lost the love of his life, has a bonkers family and tries his best to end his life which always fails in funny ways.

Luckily he meets someone new and things start getting better for him including winning a Ski race against the jock’s of his school and beating two Japanese drag racers who stalk him throughout the movie.

Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989)

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Bill and Ted have got to pass a history oral or they are going to flunk school and with that their ambition of being the greatest Rock stars ever goes out the window as Ted will be sent to Military school by his policeman Father.

Little did they know that the future of mankind rests of them passing this test and because of this they have help from the future when Rufus (George Carlin) arrives with a time travelling phone booth and they go off through time to bring back the actual historical figures including Socrates, Billy the Kid and Gheghis Khan to help then pass the test and graduate from High School.

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is totally bodacious from start to finish with some standout moments including when they take their dudes from history to the Mall and Napoleon Bonaparte goes to a water park.

Ferris Beuller’s Day Off (1986)

Everyone wanted to skip school at least once in their life.

When you did it was anything special and was a little bit boring to be honest as the rest of your friends were not about because, you know they were at school.

Unless you’re Ferris Beuller that is.

Ferris not only phones in sick pretending to be his parents, he also convinces his best friend Cameron to join him and use his Dad’s pride and joy, a Ferrari 250 GT California to get around in style.

He then rescue’s his Girlfriend from school and they go off into downtown Chicago and have the best day of their lives all whilst being pursued by Ferris’s sister and the School principle who because of Ferris has the worst day ever trying to catch him in the act of truancy and is one of the best 80’s high school movies ever made.
