Everyone remembers getting the new Argos catalogue and heading straight to the back of the gargantuan book to check out the toys and games that you’d want for Christmas and Birthdays and sometimes you were lucky enough to get what you wanted.
It was literally the book of dreams!
Whilst those memories might be distant and hazy of all the toys, games and gadgets you desired when you were a kid in the 80’s and 90’s, the feeling of excitement and nostalgia hasn’t and Argos have just done something wonderful!

A temporary website called Argos Book of Dreams has launched in time for Xmas that had copies of every single Argos catalogue from from 1974 all the way up to today’s catalogue.
Every major games consoles, must have toy including Scalextrix, Micro Machines and action figures galore and gadgets such as Walkmans and computers are there to look at again and there’s even all the outdoor swings and things you wish you had a garden big enough for!
It’s nostalgia heaven!
Have A Flick
The only gripe is is takes an age to flick through to the back pages to have a gander at all the cool toys we desired back in the day and still remember fondly today.
You’ll also wish the prices from back then for things were the same today, especially the toys and games that are now worth a small fortune but that’s hindsight for you.
If you were ever looking for a way to spend a few joyful hours finding all the stuff you dreamed of having as a kid then this is the way to do it.
