Do you remember that night in Munich back in 2001 ?
It was only six minutes in as Carsten Jancker poked the ball past David Seaman to give Germany the lead it was a case of same old, same old for England…or so we thought.
What happened in the next 84 minutes will go down in history as the greatest England victory since 1966.
A Michael Owen Hat-trick, a thunderous half volley from Gerrard and the icing on the cake from ‘Big’ Emile Heskey.
Still to this day I don’t know if it was bigger shock to the Germans or the English.
