You can’t beat sitting down with your family and friends playing a load of analogue classic games.
It’s when your competitive side really comes out when you try to do all you can to win the game. Come on how many of us have cheated at Monopoly?
It seems nowadays with the younger generation wanting smart phones, tablets and consoles for Christmas and Birthdays, the board game is not as popular as it used to be. However it shouldn’t be like that as you’ll find your kids will love these games once you pry their hands away from a game controller that is!
Classic Games That Have Stood The Test Of Time
Retroheadz take a look back at some of the classic games that we all love and have played over the years and if you can you should try and play them again as they are still just as much fun as they were when we were kids.
Game Of Life
Spin the wheel and race around the board picking what Life you want to take. When it comes to classic games, Game of Life is right up with the best of them and did a good job in presenting pivotal life moments.
Monopoly
If you land on go collect £200, pick up a chance card and go directly to jail. Race around the board buying property and try not to become bankrupt. There will always be one player who loses their cool when playing this game and many arguments and accusations of cheating will have been made. However that’s part of its charm in our opinion.
More modern version have come out over the years but you just can’t beat the original version of Monopoly can you?
Ghost Castle
The Haunted House of Horrors, enter Ghost Castle and be the first to climb the creaky stairs to close the coffin lid. Whilst the game is a simple affair it’s the way its presented and the interaction of the castle itself makes it a fondly remembered classic.
